Does the app work without a LiDAR sensor?

Yes! ArchScan Pro works on all ARKit-supported iPhones and iPads. However, devices with LiDAR sensors (iPhone 12 Pro and later, iPad Pro 2020 and later) provide significantly better scanning quality and speed.

Are my scans uploaded to the cloud?

No. All your data is stored locally on your device. No data is ever sent to our servers.

How accurate are the measurements?

With LiDAR-enabled devices, typical accuracy is ±1-2 cm. Without LiDAR, accuracy is around ±5-10 cm.

What file formats do you support?

You can export as PDF, PNG, DXF (AutoCAD compatible), USDZ (3D model), JSON, and Excel formats.

How do I connect a Bluetooth laser meter?

Go to Settings > Laser Meter, enable Bluetooth, and pair your device. Leica DISTO, Bosch GLM, and many other brands are supported.

I'm having issues during scanning. What should I do?

1) Ensure adequate lighting. 2) Avoid reflective surfaces (mirrors, glass). 3) Move the device slowly and steadily. 4) Try closing and reopening the app.
